It’s time to create a life you can’t wait to wake up to

Welcome

Hello! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Beth Smeeton, creator of The Body Wisdom Method which helps you step into your Aligned Self so you can accelerate positive change and lead a fuller, more satisfying, and abundant life. (Think less resistance, more ease, and a whole lotta confidence!)

This methodology is about freeing yourself from the stress and frustration that comes from being in a constant state of 'trying to figure it out' to 'embodying' the version of yourself you know you’re meant to be.

When you become your Aligned Self, everything changes—from your relationships, to your work, to how you spend your time and energy. If you’re tired of feeling stuck, burned out, and ready for long-lasting change, this is the breakthrough you’ve been waiting for.

I guide you back home to yourself

so you can operate from a place of self-trust. This looks like no longer over analyzing or obsessing over things like text messages, what to eat, the way you look, or how to approach challenges at work or at home. Instead, your decisions will be filled with more ease because they’ll be based on what you truly desire, need, value, and believe in. The natural byproduct of this work results in things like: inner peace, secure relationships, a healthier body, more time, more energy, effective leadership, and more.

You have the vision. You have the drive. And you immerse yourself in books, podcasts, and strategies to support you in achieving your goals.

But more often than not frustration creeps in when 1) you’re not experiencing the long-lasting change you desire, or 2) you may have achieved all the external successes, but they aren’t bringing the internal fulfillment you once hoped for…

Here’s the thing:

Lasting success, ease, and fulfillment comes from cultivating a relationship with yourself:

  • Your unique thoughts about yourself + the world around you.

  • Your specific emotions + how you respond to those feelings.

  • Your conscious + unconscious patterns.

  • Your true needs, values, + desires.

When you’re disconnected from yourself it can manifest as:

Sticky Coping Mechanisms: Despite your deep desire for transformation, you find it tough to break free from patterns like over-eating, over-drinking, or overworking. Or maybe you’re stuck procrastinating on your dreams, or somewhere in between. Even when you’ve identified these patterns, the path to lasting change often feels like it requires so much mental energy and control that you end up exhausting yourself.

Mental Exhaustion: You oscillate between feeling incredibly confident and ready to up-level your life—and then quickly slipping back into self-criticism, second-guessing your decisions, and comparing yourself to others. You long for a sense of ease, peace, and freedom yet, even with this awareness, it’s still hard to integrate these changes consistently.

Integration Struggle: Despite all the knowledge you’ve gathered—whether through research, therapy, or habit trackers—you still feel like you're forcing or using sheer willpower to make progress. You’ve tried everything, but consistency never seems to stick long-term. You aspire to go from “trying” to “embodying” the version of yourself you know you’re meant to be, so these changes feel natural.

Negative Body Image: You want to love your body, but doing so feels almost impossible. The dissatisfaction you feel with your physical appearance causes daily distress, and it even holds you back from fully claiming the vibrant life you’re meant to live. You know that embracing a positive body image is the fuel you need to create an abundant life, but it feels like a major barrier to overcome.

Emotional Dysregulation: You know life isn’t always going to be perfect, but certain situations tend to trigger deep-rooted wounds that prevent you from embodying your best self. You desire a process to recognize and transform these triggers so you can move beyond them and feel more grounded.

If one or more of these points sound familiar, I want you to know you’re not alone, you’re not broken, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with you.

I’ve worked with individuals from all over the world and every single one of them shares a common thread: their patterns were keeping them away from living the life they deeply desired.

I wasn’t immune to any of the above obstacles either, and because of my own journey, know exactly how to help you overcome them after extensive training in human behavior & consciousness. (you can learn more about me here)

When you integrate change in a way that feels natural, sustainable, and aligned with your true self—you transcend your current circumstances and fulfill your true potential.

The connection you have with yourself holds the solution to confidently creating the life you know you’re meant to have.

About

Hey there, I’m Beth, a trauma-informed Master Transformational Life & Success Coach based in Chicago, IL. I live with my husband, Joe, and Rhodesian Ridegeback, Murphy. I love all things interior design, fashion, travel, spirituality, deep chats, and laughing unreasonably loud.

My mission is to help heart-centered humans break free from limiting beliefs & patterns so they can step into their full potential and confidently create the life they know they’re meant to have.

After extensive training in human behavior & consciousness; I specialize in helping my clients get out of their own way by healing and transforming the root cause of their unwanted patterns so they can step into their most successful self and get to where they want to be faster.

I’ve used my own methodology to do things like:

  • overcome twenty years of disordered eating and body dysmorphia —> eating intuitively and maintaining a healthy weight with ease

  • overcome my fear of conflict and abandonment —> having a loving marriage filled with trust and effective communication

  • overcome doubt and perfectionism —> confidently showing up on social media and launching + growing this very business

  • overcome the daily buzz of anxiety —> feeling grounded and at peace most of the time (this isn’t about reaching a zen-like state, it’s about navigating my emotional world, conflict, and day to day decisions with rock-solid self trust)

Needless to say you can say I know a thing or two about doing the inner work it takes to overcome self-sabotage and step into your Aligned Self. I’m a living testimonial that coming home to your self is the not-so-secret-secret to having a life you can’t wait to wake up to.

What I wish someone told me sooner is that no matter what you’re working through, or what your future vision is, there’s always going to be some version of unlearning and letting go of stories, habits, and patterns that don’t support the future you’re stepping into.

Just because you’re aware of the steps you need to take, or the self you want to become, doesn’t mean you just snap your fingers and you’re forever changed (I meannnn I wish that were the case!)

There’s always going to be a period of time with focused de-conditioning, self connection, and intention until you put in enough reps and your new way of being is simply who you are and what you do.

Which is where I come in and exactly what we focus on in private coaching.

If you’re ready to reconnect with your true self so you can have a life that feels just as good on the inside as it looks from the outside—I’d love to support you on your journey.

(My creative background may seem irrelevant, but I leave it here for three reasons. 1) it’s a part of who I am to my core 2) I want you to know it’s never too late to change, or make a pivot in your life 3) I believe my creativity is a huge factor in how I’m able to identify the underlying cause of my clients’ unwanted behaviors and patterns at such a rapid rate. It isn’t uncommon for me to hear from clients that I’m a wizard or sorcerer for doing so!)
